About Hans Liljeberg
Hans J. Liljeberg joined the firm as of counsel after a two-decade judicial career in Louisiana, where he was elected to the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District Court in 2002 and elevated without opposition to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal in 2012 before retiring from the bench in 2023. Earlier he prosecuted cases for the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office and litigated for the Parish Attorney's Office. A Tulane University graduate in both business and law, he taught as an adjunct at Tulane's business school for 17 years, served on the Louisiana Judicial College Board of Governors, and holds a certificate in judicial studies from the National Judicial College.
