About Russell Turner

Russell Turner is an attorney at Berger & Green. A native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2014, obtained his paralegal certificate from Saint Francis University in 2015, and graduated with his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2019. During law school he worked with the Civil Rights clinic on expungements and pardons and received a Summer Fellowship with the Allegheny County Bar Foundation's Pro Bono Center in 2018. After admission to the bar, he joined Very Law PLLC where he developed litigation skills across multiple areas of law before moving to Pittsburgh's Neighborhood Legal Services in 2021 to begin his career in Social Security Disability Law, assisting low-income clients in obtaining SSDI and SSI benefits.

He joined Berger & Green to continue that advocacy. He has been selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2021 through 2025 and is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) and the Allegheny County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and in all Social Security courts throughout the United States.
