About Charles King

Attorney Charlie King has experience litigating all stages of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle collisions, premises liability injuries, slip and fall claims, wrongful death claims, and cases against government entities under the Maine Tort Claims Act. A formidable negotiator and skilled legal advocate, Charlie has a diverse practice covering car crashes, fall injuries, animal attacks, dangerous properties, and other serious injury matters. Before joining Berman & Simmons, Charlie worked for the State of Maine as an assistant attorney general, giving him insight into how government entities approach litigation and defend against claims.

He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Tulane University Law School. Charlie is admitted in both Maine and Louisiana and is a member of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.
