Dean Heiling

Dean Heiling is Of Counsel at Bridge City Law in Portland, Oregon, with over 50 years of legal experience in personal injury and general practice.

Heiling earned his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in 1971. He is admitted to practice in Oregon (1971), Washington, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

After law school, he opened a solo practice in Winston, Oregon, handling general practice cases. He served as Douglas County's first public defender before returning to private practice and relocating to Portland in 1989. He has successfully argued cases before the Oregon Court of Appeals and Oregon Supreme Court and has prosecuted ethics violations for the Oregon State Bar.
