David Adgate

David R. Adgate is a Trial Attorney at Buckfire Law, focusing on first-party automobile claims, third-party auto negligence, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, and wrongful death cases.

Adgate earned his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in 2017 and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2013. He completed the University of Michigan MedPrep Program in 2019. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.

Adgate joined Buckfire in January 2024 after previously working as an associate at a metro Detroit personal injury firm and as a fellow for the Federal Defender Office in Detroit. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Litigation, and has secured significant settlements including $1,375,000 in a delivery truck accident case.
