About Courtney Lowther
Courtney's background is in litigation. While practicing criminal defense, Courtney developed an interest in crash investigations and a passion for traffic safety. Courtney became a traffic prosecutor where she criminally prosecuted negligent drivers and her focus was crime and punishment. Courtney is now making the transition to civilly prosecuting negligent drivers where her focus will be safety and remedy.
It is Courtney's privilege to represent clients again, and she is honored to continue seeking justice for victims in the civil justice system instead of the criminal justice system. Above all else, Courtney loves spending precious time with her family. She also enjoys cheering on Kansas sports teams.

A Sedgwick County jury awarded $1.7 million to a Wichita motorcyclist who struck city-installed bollards blocking an intersection that still showed a green traffic light, finding the City of Wichita negligent for shifting road-closure safety duties onto private applicants instead of its own traffic engineers.
