Jessica Gooding

Jessica O'Neill Gooding is a trial attorney who blends compassionate client counseling with courtroom advocacy. A native of Conway, South Carolina, Jess graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2013, receiving the Order of the Coif and Order of the Wig and Robe honors and serving as an Honor Editor on the South Carolina Law Review. She joined Goings Law Firm in 2016 and has continued to develop her courtroom and trial experience across employment and personal injury matters. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2017 through 2026, named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, and received Columbia Business Monthly's Best and Brightest 35 and Under honor in 2023. Jess is active in the Richland County Bar Association, the South Carolina Association for Justice, and the Junior League of Columbia.
