William McCartney

William E. McCartney joined Goldasich, Vick, and McCartney in January 2025 after spending twelve years with a boutique banking law firm defending community banks and state regulatory agencies in civil litigation throughout the southeast. After graduating from the University of Alabama with an interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, and Society, William worked for the Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Division in Bronx, NY, where he played an important role in its representation of victims of child abuse and neglect by guiding families through New York’s complex system of child protective services. He returned to Alabama to obtain his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, and after successfully representing corporate clients in state, federal, and appellate courts, William is excited to once again advocate for individuals who have been injured by the wrongful acts of others.
