John Osborne

John Osborne is Senior Counsel at Goldberg & Osborne in Arizona. His career began in the 1980s defending medical malpractice cases, and he joined the plaintiffs' bar in 1985.

Osborne earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology from Stanford University. He is licensed to practice before state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court, and is certified as a legal specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation by the State Bar of Arizona. He is fluent in Spanish.

Osborne is a Past President of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and Past President of the Tucson Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Notable cases include Yniguez v. DaimlerChrysler ($6.2 million jury award, over $3 million after comparative fault); Rosser v. Greenehaven Development (over $1 million verdict in an asphyxiation case); and Philadelphia Indemnity v. Barrera (Arizona Supreme Court reversal securing hundreds of thousands in additional benefits). He has also handled multi-district litigation against manufacturers including Ford, GM, and Bridgestone/Firestone. He is an active pilot and volunteers with the Flying Samaritans Arizona Chapter.
