About Sharon Heath

Sharon L. Heath is a partner at Heath & Heath, P.C. in Naperville, Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago in 1982, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1985, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award in Conflicts of Law and serving on the Mock Trial Team. She was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1985. Before joining the firm, Sharon worked for seven years as a Sexual Assault Counselor and later as a Clinical Therapist at Linden Oaks Hospital.

In 2014 she founded Process and Solutions Counseling, LLC, a private practice. She joined her husband Timothy Heath at Heath and Heath, P.C. in 2016, at which time the firm adopted its current name. Sharon concentrates her practice on personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, including car accident, wrongful death, and motorcycle accident cases. In 2022 she co-tried Browning v. Advocate Health and Hospital Corp., which resulted in a $49.25 million jury verdict for the plaintiffs.

A Cook County jury awarded Joseph and Christine Browning $49.25 million after physicians at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital waited 11 days to perform exploratory surgery on a sepsis infection that destroyed most of Joseph's small bowel. Sharon L. Heath and Timothy W. Heath of Heath & Heath, P.C. represented the Brownings, and the Illinois Appellate Court affirmed the verdict in 2023.
