David Karnas

David Karnas (Matthew David Karnas) is the Founder and Attorney at Karnas Law Firm, PLLC in Tucson, Arizona. He has practiced law for over 25 years, specializing in mass tort, class action litigation, and personal injury matters.

Karnas earned his Juris Doctor with Honors from Syracuse University College of Law in 1990, a Master's degree from the State University of New York at Syracuse, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in 1986. He is admitted to the State Bars of Arizona and California.

Karnas has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and jury verdicts and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The firm has been named to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers and Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers in Arizona. Before law school, Karnas worked as a legislative assistant for Art Hamilton, Arizona's first African-American elected state legislator. He founded the Karnas Kids Foundation.
