Don Higley

Don Higley is a Senior Litigation Attorney at Lanier Law Group, P.A. in North Carolina, where he joined in 2010. He specializes in medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases.

Higley has argued cases before the North Carolina Appellate Courts, North Carolina Supreme Court, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is recognized as an expert on automobile insurance coverage and has authored publications on the subject. He also holds certification as a mediator.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 1994, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Campbell Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar, Federal Court, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, North Carolina Advocates for Justice (former Chair of Auto Torts Section), and American Association for Justice.
