About Mark Larson

Mark V. Larson founded Larson Law Injury & Accident Lawyers in Minot, North Dakota, where he has practiced personal injury law since 1979. He was born and raised in Pembina, North Dakota. In high school, he chose law over medicine, and he has spent his career representing injured North Dakotans against insurance companies and large corporations. He received his B.A. from the University of North Dakota in 1976, his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1979, and his M.Acct. from the University of North Dakota in 1985. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (1986), which gives him a stronger grasp of the financial dimensions of personal injury claims.

He is a Certified Civil Trial Specialist and Certified Civil Practice Advocate through the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He serves on the Board of Governors of both the American Association of Justice and the North Dakota Association for Justice, and is a longtime member of the State Bar of North Dakota. He has been named a Super Lawyers honoree every year from 2014 through 2024 and a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 member from 2007 through 2024. Outside the office, he enjoys horseback riding and volunteers with the Boy Scouts.
