Gerald Leeseberg

Gerald S. Leeseberg is of counsel at Leeseberg Tuttle in Columbus, Ohio, where he has focused his practice on medical malpractice, product liability, personal injury, and aviation accident cases for more than four decades. He earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies magna cum laude from Bowling Green State University in 1976 and a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 1979. The National Board of Trial Advocacy has certified Mr. Leeseberg in civil litigation. Among his results, he obtained four of the largest medical malpractice verdicts in Franklin County history and won a precedent-setting Ohio ruling that prohibited use of a patient's prior medical history to establish comparative negligence.

He also secured a landmark decision allowing grandparents to recover wrongful death damages. Mr. Leeseberg is a past president of the Central Ohio Association for Justice and a former board member and legislative liaison of the Ohio Association for Justice.
