About W. Cagney McCormick

W. Cagney McCormick is the principal of McCormick Law Firm ("The Injury Attorney"). He has zealously represented injured plaintiffs across the nation since 2012 and has worked more than 100,000 insurance claims for injured clients. He is the only personal injury attorney in America licensed in 11 states and two federal districts.

A native of South Dallas/Ellis County, Texas, McCormick earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's School of Law in San Antonio, attending evening classes while employed full-time at Dell Inc. His thesis on cybersecurity law was published by Southern Methodist University School of Law.

In 2016, he founded the McCormick Law College Scholarship Program at Waxahachie High School. He is a Million Dollar Advocates Forum member (2018) and a Justia Lawyers member.

His honors include multiple Top Verdict recognitions (2017-2024), recognition for two of the Top 10 Texas settlements (2023), and Super Lawyer selection (2024).
