Amanda Pittman

Mandy Pittman is an associate in the Columbia office, where she focuses on medical malpractice, nursing home, and personal injury cases. Before joining the team at McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, Mandy practiced at an insurance defense/subrogation firm and then at a personal injury firm. She has been consistently recognized in her field, earning the title of Midlands Legal Elite in Personal Injury (2019, 2022, 2024) and in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice (2023, 2025). From 2021 to 2026, Best Lawyers® recognized her among "Ones to Watch."

Mandy is deeply engaged in the legal community through leadership and service in numerous professional organizations. She serves on the Board of Governors of the South Carolina Association for Justice, is a member of the Executive Committee of the Richland County Bar, and contributes to the South Carolina Bar's Ethics Advisory and Professional Responsibility Committees. In June 2024, Mandy graduated from the Three-Week Trial Lawyers College, an intensive program dedicated to enhancing trial lawyers' skills in fighting for the rights of ordinary people. A small-town girl at heart, Mandy grew up in Lugoff, South Carolina, and attended Presbyterian College before attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was an active member of the Mock Trial Bar.
