Dan Shelton

Dan Shelton, a native Oklahoman, completed his undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University in 1977, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Mr. Shelton attended the University of Arizona School of Law where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1981. During law school he participated in the Moot Court Program and was an instructor in administrative law in the College of Business and Public Administration. Mr. Shelton has been a member of the Oklahoma and the Arizona Bar Associations since 1982 and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma and the District of Arizona, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for both the Ninth and Tenth Circuits. Mr. Shelton is a member of the American Association of Justice and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Shelton has represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters since 1982. Since 1996, he has almost exclusively devoted his practice to the representation of plaintiffs injured as a result of medical malpractice. Mr. Shelton has earned the designation of a Certified Specialist in the area of Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation bestowed by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. Additionally, Mr. Shelton is an A-V rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubble, the highest possible rating of level of professional excellence and ethical standards based on the independent evaluations of judges and lawyers in the legal community.
