About Clay Boylen

Clay Boylen is a Jasper, Alabama native, graduating in 2011 from Walker High School. After graduation, he attended Bevill State Community College for one year before continuing his education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at UAB, Mr. Boylen was elected Vice President of Lambda Chi Alpha and served as Fraternity Educator and on the Executive Committee.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from UAB in Communication Studies with a minor in History, he enrolled in Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. Mr. Boylen was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2018 and joined the Nelson Bryan & Cross team that year. His focus at NBC is Personal Injury, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Social Security Disability.

In 2019 a rented temporary pipe system failed at a Tyson Farms chicken rendering plant in Hanceville, and roughly 220,000 gallons of rendering wastewater went into the Mulberry Fork of the Black Warrior River. Mark Griffin, a boat repairman working on the water downriver in Dora, fell ill and was eventually diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis.
