About Mark Dunlap

Mark Dunlap has specialized in personal injury law for over 30 years and is one of Maine's most experienced trial lawyers, having served as lead counsel in more than 125 jury trials. He holds an "AV Preeminent" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the organization's highest designation based on peer review by judges and fellow attorneys. Mark has been listed in the U.S. News "Best Lawyers in America" directory since 2008 in the personal injury category and was named "Best Lawyer" by that publication in 2014.

He has represented clients in the Maine courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine, the Maine Law Court, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and has participated in decisions that have helped shape the development of Maine law. He has been a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court for more than twenty years. Mark is a past president of the Cumberland County Bar Association, has chaired the Cumberland County Bench/Bar Liaison Committee, and currently serves on the Maine Supreme Court Advisory Committee.
