Blake Matthys

Blake Allen Matthys is an Associate Attorney at The Carlson Law Firm's Killeen, Texas office, where he focuses on car accident and personal injury cases. He earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin. Blake was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November 2017. Before joining Carlson in July 2022, he was a Senior Associate Attorney at the Law Office of Larry A. Matthys, P.C. in San Antonio, where he handled subrogation, insurance defense, and contractual litigation, experience that gives him strategic insight into how opposing counsel approaches injury matters. He has handled cases in District, County, Probate, and Justice of the Peace Courts statewide, from Amarillo to Brownsville and Texarkana to El Paso.
