About Robert May

Robert May is the founding attorney of The May Firm, a California personal injury law firm. He has successfully handled thousands of personal injury cases and secured more than $25 million in verdicts and settlements.

May grew up in a blue-collar family on the Central Coast of California, the oldest of five siblings. He was the first member of his family to receive a college degree. As a teenager, he was the victim of a violent personal injury and had to navigate the legal system as a plaintiff, an experience that influenced his commitment to helping others.

He earned his Bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.

He is admitted to the State Bar of California and several federal district courts.
