Jake Plattenberger

Jake Plattenberger is a Partner & Attorney at TorHoerman Law LLC in Chicago, where he manages the Chicago office and leads trial teams in nationwide, complex litigations including diacetyl exposure cases, the Incretin Mimetics Products Liability Litigation, and Transvaginal Mesh multidistrict litigations. Born and raised in Chicago, he joined the firm in 2009 after starting his career trying cases at the Richard J. Daley Center, initially doing insurance defense work. Since joining TorHoerman Law, he has taken hundreds of depositions, argued in countless hearings, and tried over thirty-five cases to a jury. He focuses on plaintiff's trial work involving product liability and toxic exposures.
