Celia Weingartner

Celia Klug Weingartner focuses her practice on dependency, custody, estate planning, and probate matters in Hamilton, Butler, and Clermont Counties. Born and raised in Cincinnati, she is a graduate of Wyoming High School. Celia attended DePauw University, where she received a degree in Sociology and Education Studies. She then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was a fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project and managed more than 40 cases of Ohio inmates claiming actual innocence.

She also worked for Treleven and Klingensmith Law, the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office, and Legal Aid, and volunteered with Hamilton County Youth Court. In 2020, Celia argued before the Ohio Supreme Court in In Re: A.M. as the Attorney Guardian ad Litem for the child in the case (Slip Opinion No. 2020-Ohio-5102). She was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2021 and 2023, received the Lois Rosenthal Award for Justice from the Ohio Innocence Project, and earned the Vera May Farber Award and the Order of Omega. Celia is a member of the Ohio, Cincinnati, and Butler County Bar Associations, and serves on the Ohio Innocence Project's Young Professionals Committee and the board of the EDGE Teen Center in Butler County.
