About Mike Beardsley
Mike Beardsley is a native of Rapid City, South Dakota. He graduated from Montana State University in 2006 and from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2010, becoming the third generation of his family to graduate from that law school. His practice covers a broad range of litigation with a focus on personal injury, workers' compensation, and bad faith insurance claims. He served on the Board of Governors of the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association from 2015 to 2025 and is a member of the American Association for Justice, the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association, and the Black Hills Criminal Defense Bar. Outside the office, Mike enjoys hunting, skiing, and riding motorcycles in the Black Hills with his wife, Nicole, and their two sons.
