About Miriam Johnson

Attorney Miriam Johnson joined Berman & Simmons in 2011 and represents clients in medical malpractice claims. Miriam has a strong reputation for research and legal writing skills, and a special ability to find common ground with attorneys and clients from all walks of life. She is part of a coalition of four prominent law firms representing victims and their families connected to the October 2023 mass shooting in Lewiston, ME.

Miriam has spent more than a decade supporting clients through some of the most difficult experiences of their lives and brings deep knowledge of Maine medical malpractice law to every matter. She is a graduate of Skidmore College and the University of Maine School of Law. Miriam is a member of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
