Brian Mahoney

Brian E. Mahoney is Of Counsel at Blume Forte and was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1979. He received his B.A. with honors from the College of William and Mary in 1976 and his J.D. with honors from Rutgers Law School in Newark in 1979. He also attended the University of Exeter in England. He has tried more than 50 cases to verdict, including two exceeding $1 million.

His practice covers construction litigation, toxic tort, product liability, medical malpractice, and personal injury law. He holds the Supreme Court's Certified Civil Trial Attorney designation, which he received in 1995. He authored and has maintained the treatise "New Jersey Personal Injury Recovery" published by Gann Law Books since 2000 (originally titled "New Jersey Comparative Fault and Liability Apportionment"). He has been designated a Super Lawyer from 2005 through 2008 and from 2012 through 2024.
