About Krista DeSmyter

Krista DeSmyter's desire to become an attorney started in middle school after studying the Civil Rights Movement. She joined ChasenBoscolo in 2011 and is passionate about protecting individuals and families during difficult times. Krista earned her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she was an editor and published author of the Law Review, and her B.A. in Political Science and Business Administration from Hillsdale College. She serves as a Workers' Compensation Panel Attorney for both the National Football League Players' Association (NFLPA) and the Professional Hockey Players' Association (PHPA).
