About Megan Sanfrancesco

Megan Sanfrancesco joined the litigation section of the firm's Delaware office in 2019 as Of Counsel. She is admitted to the bars of Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She focuses her practice on civil litigation, primarily in the areas of personal injury and premises liability.

Megan has worked in both the private and public sectors. She began her practice as a civil defense litigator, then became a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware. She also served as a First Assistant County Attorney for New Castle County, where she practiced civil litigation for 18 years.

Megan graduated cum laude from Widener University School of Law, where she was an editor for the Widener Journal of Public Law. Before law school she attended the University of Delaware, earning a B.A. in criminal justice, and the College of New Jersey, earning an M.A.T. in secondary education. Megan currently resides in Delaware with her husband and two children.

Her bar admissions include Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association (including its Women and the Law Section) and the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, serves as a board member of Survivors of Abuse in Recovery, Inc., and is an arbitrator for the Delaware State Bar Association Fee Dispute Committee.
