About Edgar Snyder

Edgar Snyder founded the firm bearing his name in 1982 with the goal of helping injured people in Western Pennsylvania. Before starting the firm, he worked as an Allegheny County assistant public defender and represented several high-profile clients in criminal defense. He then shifted his focus to personal injury law, opening a storefront office in Duquesne across from the steel mill so workers would see his lights on after their shifts.

Over more than four decades, the firm has helped more than 40,000 injury victims and people with disabilities. Attorney Snyder earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in all Pennsylvania state and federal courts.
