About Shaun Cummings

Shaun M. Cummings is a native Floridian who grew up in Ocala. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, all Texas state courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and several U.S. District Courts. He graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law, where he served on the Law Review and was a member of the nationally ranked trial team, earning individual awards for trial advocacy and induction into the National Order of Barristers. Shaun is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar (2021). He handles personal injury, medical malpractice, and large-loss first-party insurance claims.

In March 2025, Shaun was part of the trial team that obtained a $200 million wrongful death jury verdict in Pinellas County. In 2023, he served as lead trial counsel in a wrongful death case in Hillsborough County that resulted in a $150 million jury verdict, a Top 10 verdict in Florida that year. In 2016, he was part of the team that won the largest contested jury verdict in Hernando County history ($42 million). Shaun has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for four consecutive years beginning in 2021 and joined Stetson Law School as an adjunct professor teaching Trial Advocacy in August 2023.
