Jay Hewitt

Jay Hewitt is an attorney with George Sink Injury Lawyers, based at the firm's Greenville, South Carolina office. A native of Greenville, he has practiced law in the city for more than 25 years, litigating cases in state and federal court throughout South Carolina. His courtroom experience includes presenting oral arguments before the South Carolina Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Hewitt spent much of his career representing insurance companies in motor vehicle, premises liability, and mass tort cases before transitioning to represent injured parties in personal injury litigation. He has tried multiple jury trials to verdict.

He earned his Bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

A former elite Ironman triathlete, Hewitt competed on the US National Triathlon Team at the World Championships in both Europe and Australia.
