Jordan Acker

Jordan B. Acker is an Equity Partner at Goodman Acker P.C., a personal injury attorney focused on litigation and firm growth.

Acker earned his Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law in 2010 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 2006. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan (2010).

Acker is a second-generation Goodman Acker attorney. Prior to law, he served as communications assistant for the Michigan Democratic Party (2006) and as attorney-advisor to Secretary Janet Napolitano at the Department of Homeland Security (2011). He was elected a University of Michigan Regent in November 2018 and is in his sixth year of service. His honors include Fellow of the Michigan Political Leaders Program (2015), Michigan Lawyers Weekly Up and Coming Lawyer (2016), and Crain's Detroit Business 40 Under 40 (2020).
