Scott Carr

Scott H. Carr is a trial lawyer representing clients in business litigation, legal malpractice, personal injury, products liability, and employment litigation. He holds Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating for competence and ethics and was named Consumer Attorney of the Year for California in 2016. He was a lead attorney for Erin Andrews in the $55 million Marriott verdict and has obtained verdicts and confidential settlements in legal malpractice and personal injury cases exceeding $250 million. Notable results include $22 million in McLaughlin v. CLP Mountain High (ski accident), $11.9 million in a wrongful termination case, $9 million in a highway design case against the State of California, and $5.5 million in a defective skylight premises liability action. He earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1986) and his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law (1991), where he made the dean's list.
