Jodi Black

Jodi Black is an Attorney at Greer Injury Lawyers, PLLC, with over 20 years of experience in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.

Black earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2004 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Manitoba in 1992. She is admitted to the State Bars of Tennessee (2005), Kentucky (2016), and Arkansas (2016), and to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee (2008).

Black worked in critical care settings as a nurse before law school. She initially defended medical malpractice cases for physicians and insurers, then transitioned to plaintiff representation. She has achieved a multi-million-dollar jury verdict and more than $50 million in settlements. Her honors include AV Rated, Super Lawyers, Top 40 Under 40, and American Board of Trial Advocates membership.
