About Jayme Walker

Jayme L. Walker represents plaintiffs in employment matters, sexual harassment and assault, negligent supervision in schools, catastrophic personal injuries, wrongful deaths, and civil rights abuses. She has tried cases to verdict in both state and federal court and has recovered millions in settlements. She served as 2021 President of the Alameda Contra Costa County Trial Lawyers Association and received its 2023 Member of the Year award.

Named a California Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2014 to 2023 and a Super Lawyer starting in 2024, she has also been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as a Best Women Lawyer One to Watch. Her firm was named by the Recorder as one of the Top 10 Leading Plaintiffs Bay Area Employment Law Groups. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Stanislaus County agreed to pay $22.5 million to settle a federal civil rights suit brought by criminal defense attorney Frank Carson's estate and seven co-plaintiffs who were acquitted after a years-long murder conspiracy prosecution. The firm served as co-lead trial counsel, representing four of the eight plaintiffs and negotiating roughly $12 million of the total; Morrison & Foerster represented the other four.
