Ronald Johnson

Ronald E. Johnson Jr. is a partner at Hendy Johnson Vaughn (HJV) in Louisville, Kentucky, with over two decades of legal practice. He has litigated complex and catastrophic cases nationwide, focusing on personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, and accident cases. In the national opioid litigation, he served as lead counsel on behalf of all local governmental entities in Kentucky in negotiations with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, securing a 50-50 division of settlement proceeds that resulted in more than $400 million going to Kentucky counties and cities to remediate the opioid epidemic. He is a former president of the Kentucky Justice Association and serves on the boards of the Louisville Bar Association and the Attorney Advertising Commission of the Kentucky Bar Association.
