Antonio Ruiz

Antonio "Tony" Ruiz is Of Counsel at Koussan Law, leading the firm's Marquette office serving Upper Peninsula personal injury clients with 17 years of trial experience. His practice spans motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, worker's compensation, and serious injury litigation.

Ruiz earned his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School and his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics from Albion College. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan.

Ruiz co-founded a Michigan firm focusing on criminal defense and family law, worked at Rettig, Rademacher, Clark, Bray & Cameron, P.C. in Escanaba on worker's compensation matters, and served as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Washtenaw County. He has served on the Escanaba City Board of Zoning and the Escanaba Planning Commission.
