Ali Koussan

Ali H. Koussan is the Founder, Lead Trial Attorney, and Managing Partner of Koussan Law, a boutique Michigan personal injury firm. With over a decade of practice, he has recovered tens of millions for injured clients and their families.

Koussan earned his Juris Doctor with honors from Wayne State University Law School, where he was a Dean's Scholar and Lombard Fellow, and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with High Distinction from the University of Michigan as an Honors Scholar. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan (state and federal courts) and the State Bar of Nevada (2020).

Koussan has clerked for a civil rights judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and argued before the Michigan Supreme Court. His notable results include a $14.95 million jury verdict against Pontiac General Hospital and a $6 million premises liability settlement, the largest known in Michigan under the former "open and obvious" doctrine.
