Michael Lizzi

Michael Lizzi is a partner at Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi P.C. and has been with the firm since 1996, becoming a partner in 1999. He handles complex and standard tort litigation in New York and New Jersey state and federal courts, covering medical and hospital negligence, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, motor vehicle collision, highway design negligence, property and building defects, and defective consumer products. Since joining the firm, Lizzi has accumulated verdicts and settlements exceeding $30 million, with more than $13 million obtained in a five-year span.

He led the firm in establishing its New York practice in 2008. Before joining Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi, he was a litigation associate at Novick, Edelstein, Lubell, Reisman, Wasserman & Leventhal, P.C. in New York, which he joined in 1991. He also interned for the Honorable Marie Lambert of the New York State Surrogate Court.
