About Ed Malek

Edward "Ed" Malek, Esq. is the Founder of Malek & Malek Law Firm in Columbus, Ohio, which he established in 1971. With approximately 55 years of legal experience, he has focused his practice on workers' compensation, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. Ed has eight children and works closely at the firm with three of his sons — James, Doug, and Kip Malek — who are also licensed attorneys.

He is active in his church and enjoys history and nature in his personal life.

Malek is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Ohio Association for Justice, and Central Ohio Association for Justice.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 1969 and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Kent State University in 1962. He has been admitted to the Ohio Bar since 1969.
