Mike McDivitt

Mike McDivitt is the Founder, CEO, and Attorney at McDivitt Law Firm in Colorado. A Colorado native from La Junta, he has practiced personal injury law since 1974 and has built one of the state's largest personal injury firms.

McDivitt earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1974. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Denver, with a major in Economics and minors in Spanish and Political Science, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He held a Rotary Foundation Graduate Fellowship at the University of Western Australia, Perth.

Before law school, McDivitt served in the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division in Korea from 1968 to 1970.

He is admitted to the Colorado Bar (1974), U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado (1974), and U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals (1974).

He is a member of the American Association for Justice (Leaders Forum), Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (past Board Member), El Paso County Bar Association, NOSSCR, and Workers' Compensation Education Association. He is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

He has been recognized as National Trial Lawyers Top 100, National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys Top 10 in Colorado, and the Colorado Springs Gazette 2018 People's Choice Best Lawyer.
