About John Nachazel Jr.

John Nachazel Jr. is an Attorney in the Appellate Department at Mike Morse Injury Law Firm in Michigan, specializing in appellate work. He serves as one of the lead attorneys for the firm's in-house Innocence Project, focusing on freeing wrongfully convicted individuals throughout Michigan.

Nachazel earned his Juris Doctor from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona on a full tuition scholarship. Resnick Water Resource Fellow (2019-2020) positions and served as Senior Managing Editor of the Arizona Journal of Environmental Law and Policy. He received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Water Law. He previously interned for Michigan Supreme Court Justice David Viviano and Deborah Gordon.
