About Michael Hanby

Michael Hanby graduated cum laude from Boise State University and earned his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law, where he served as Fall Edition Editor for the Idaho Law Review. As a partner at Pedersen Whitehead & Hanby, he represents plaintiffs in personal injury, medical malpractice, automobile and trucking accident, and wrongful death cases. His practice also extends to insurance matters, where he advocates for insureds, combats bad faith insurance practices, and addresses insurance agent oversights. Hanby is a member of the American Association of Justice and the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, where he has served on the board, been named Seminar Chair, and currently serves as its AAJ Delegate. He has appeared in Idaho State Court, U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
