Nicole Cannizzaro

Nicole J. Cannizzaro is a personal injury attorney at Richard Harris Personal Injury Law Firm in Las Vegas. She is also a Nevada State Senator since 2016 and served as the first woman Nevada State Senate Majority Leader. In July 2025, she announced her candidacy for Nevada Attorney General in the 2026 election.

Cannizzaro served at the Clark County District Attorney's Office from 2011, including as Chief Deputy District Attorney with a stint prosecuting gangs, before returning to private practice in 2022. She earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2010 and her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2006.
