About James Scherr
James F. Scherr, a native El Pasoan, is the founding partner of Scherr Legate. An El Paso jury awarded more than $4 million on behalf of an auto dealership employee who was catastrophically injured when a co-worker's truck struck her in the dealership parking lot after hours, and the Texas Supreme Court in June 2023 blocked an attempt to retry the case, locking in the verdict.
