The firm has represented injured Louisianans since 1978 and is led by Scott J. Chafin, Jr., a past President of the Louisiana Association for Justice who has managed the firm since 2014. Its practice covers oilfield injury, 18-wheeler and auto collisions, construction injury, maritime and offshore claims, traumatic brain injury, burn injury, spinal and orthopedic injury, and wrongful death, with offices in Shreveport and Baton Rouge. Published firm results include a jury verdict of more than $23.5 million in an oilfield personal injury case, described by the firm as the largest oilfield jury verdict in Caddo Parish, a $23 million wrongful death and survival settlement, a $10 million workplace injury settlement, and a $7.5 million product liability result.
