James Foerstner

James E. Foerstner joined Stampone, O'Brien, Dilsheimer, Holloway in 2024 with more than 30 years of legal experience spanning prosecutor, defense attorney, and plaintiff attorney roles. His practice focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury, automobile accidents, defective products, and premises liability. Foerstner earned his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University in 1989 and his B.A. from Saint Francis University in 1981.

He is admitted in Pennsylvania (1997), Ohio (1989), and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (1999). He has served as Judge Pro Tem in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court and has been listed in Super Lawyers from 2013 through 2026. His verdicts include two ranked in Pennsylvania's top 50 (2004 to 2008) and the top medical malpractice verdict in Pennsylvania in 2018.
