Dylan Cohon

Dylan R. Cohon is a partner at Swanson Gardner Meyers Cohon PLLC, concentrating his practice on medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. He earned his B.A. in Political Science magna cum laude from Western Washington University in 2004 and his Juris Doctor from Willamette University in 2007. Before joining SGMC in 2019, Cohon served as a senior partner at a defense firm representing Seattle-area hospitals, gaining direct insight into the strategies and arguments used by the defense in medical negligence litigation. Since joining SGMC, he has helped clients recover more than $100 million in compensation.

His cases involve surgical complications, radiological imaging errors, delayed diagnoses, and birth injuries. He is admitted to practice in Washington State courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Cohon has been recognized as a Washington Super Lawyer beginning in 2023 and as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2016 through 2022. He is named to the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 40 Under 40 and is an Eagle Member of the Washington State Association for Justice.
