About Kegan Monks

Kegan Monks grew up in Meridian, Idaho, and graduated magna cum laude from Boise State University with a degree in business and marketing in 2013. He attended William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas on a merit-based academic scholarship and earned his J.D. in 2016, serving as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Cynthia D. Steel and working as a law clerk and research assistant. After law school Kegan gained experience at several prominent Nevada firms, including Goodsell Law Group, Gerrard Cox Larsen, and Albright Stoddard Warnick and Albright, before returning to Idaho to join The Advocates. He holds the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating, the highest available, and has been named a Super Lawyers Mountain States Rising Star for both 2023 and 2024. He is admitted to practice in Idaho (2016) and Nevada (2015).
