Craig Whisenhunt

Craig Whisenhunt is a Trial Group Team Leader at The Florida Law Group, focusing on complex personal injury litigation. He brings more than 16 years of courtroom experience, including over 200 jury trials and complex evidentiary hearings in cases ranging from misdemeanors to death penalty litigation and multimillion-dollar defamation suits. Before joining the firm, Craig was managing partner of Ripley Whisenhunt, PLLC, one of Florida's premier complex criminal defense firms, where he handled high-profile matters and worked to overturn wrongful convictions, death sentences, and life sentences. He has collaborated with the Innocence Project and has had cases covered by CNN, Rolling Stone, and the Associated Press.

Craig also served as Chief Information Officer for one of Florida's largest Public Defender offices and has taught attorneys, law students, and paralegals as a professor and litigation technology consultant. He earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, followed by two LL.M. degrees, both with honors: one from Stetson and one from Temple University Beasley School of Law. At Stetson, he was a member of the nationally ranked Advocacy Board and served as president of the school's American Association for Justice chapter.
